We have used a Revo rack for our last two European trips. In 2019 we carried a suitcase which proved inconvenient when we wanted to put the roof up or down because of rain or on occasion it was too hot & we wanted the a/c on. This year we toured Northern Spain & Portugal and just fitted the rack for supermarket shops between accommodations because the boot was full. I have to say it was a much better arrangement. We just took 2 soft sports bags which were more than adequate for clothes and personal items. When planning our route and accommodation we made sure that we stayed in an apartment with a washing machine every 4 or 5 days for 2 or 3 nights so we could get our clothes washed & dried before the next stage. It worked really well and in fact we could have managed with fewer clothes in the event! We were away for about 3 weeks. I can thoroughly recommend the Revo rack though.
