    Hi all,
    Can some advise as to to what this connector feeds, as there has been some heat in the wires exiting the plug. On closer inspection the male and female contacts are ok and at some time in the past contact grease has been applied :thinking:

I think you will find they are all like that. Not down to heat, more likely the colour of the grease.

That’s what I thought, but the insulation on a couple of wires looks brittle!

Wipe away excess if you want to and put the cover back on. Nothing to worry about, mine’s the same and I worried about it some years ago until I found out they are all like it.
