Following from the incident that my car was involved in last week I’m a little unsure as to the correct procedure for making a claim.
Do I contact my insurance company,giving them his details,?
Do I contact his company quoting the incident number that they gave him?
Do I wait for them to contact me once they’ve recived his claim form?
Advice appreciated
You should contact your insurance company as soon as possible after the incident regardless of who is to blame.
They will ask questions about when and how the incident happened and any details of the other parties involved.
