On the Sunday it went up the hill seconds after the Vulcan Bomber roared over, that was quite an experience…
There were two of them at Goodwood, the original winning car in the paddock and doing the runs and another on the Mazda stand from the Le Mans museum, which came 7th in the race and had originally been white. Allegedly this had no engine (so guys on Mazda stand reckoned) , but according to our very own Roadster Robbie he could see it! so presumably it was a non runner for some other reason.
The winning car was being looked after by 3 japanese guys, one of whom was on the original team. It was a handful to drive apparently, tramlining loads on the not so smooth Goodwood Hill, but as you can see from the video the driver was certainly giving is some…
