While I have nothing but respect for the car control skills exhibited by the worlds top drifters and the quality of the engineering that has gone into this no rules MADAZ Group C tribute drift car, with that kind of talent I struggle to understand why they have not gone for something a bit more disciplined, focused and ambitious like a Garage 56 entry for the Le Mans 24 hours.
Iād have thought racing for 24 hours around the worlds fastest roundabout would be a tad more fullfilling than keeping crowds entertained with burnouts like a circus side show in an Asdal car park, or am I just being a very square peg in a round hole ?
Eitherway while I enjoyed supporting the under dawg Mazdas at Le Mans on my visits twixt 1981 and 1991, my ears were always mighty relieved when they retired from the races.
