Mazda coolant with 13/06/2019 printed on it 🤔

I’ve just bought the 5L mazda coolant:

i only saw the date printed on it: 13/06/2019 when i got home.
i’ve seen different advice on changing your coolant every 11 yrs, 10 yrs, 5 yrs or 2 yrs.

so depending on which one of those you chose, doesn’t that mean you’ve only really got:
8 yrs useful life out of it before it needs changing again, 7 yrs, 2 yrs or -1 yrs?

or does ‘time start’ so to speak when you take the cap off and put it in the car?

would you take it back and swap it or get your money back?

It should only apply from when you use it, shelf life doesn’t count unless it says so on the container.

Just put it in, as said I would start the life span clock from the year it was put in.
