This guy has written an advert for a green mx5 that bares no relation to the actual car pictured…
Good game of spot the obvious bullshit

Dear God! No rust and dents at all? Did he photograph the wrong car?
Harsh…but fair!
They were assessing the car from a socially distant position and expect you to do the same when viewing.
Actually in really shocking condition.
Pop up overspray
Sillls totally suck, paint looks FUBARD, shoddy interior.
Only interesting aspect are the alloys.
Shed material.
Still can’t decide if it’s blue or green!
It’s, well both with some silver and what looks like orange stuff thrown in around the edges…
Hope it’s not a member on here:thinking:
Maybe the J plate from the description is hiding behind that flaking off H plate on the back?
I could use a silver hard top, but even that looks a bit past its best.
About a year ago, I went to look at a Mk3.75 which was advertised privately on AutoTrader as “excellent”, with full Mazda service history…
Among my notes from that viewing are
• All 4 tyres worn (borderline dangerous)
• All 4 wheels kerbed
• Scrapes on various panels
• Paint damaged (bird poo, etc) on various panels
• Driver’s seat bolster worn
• Front spoiler cracked under number plate
• Headlight lenses partly occluded
• Radio aerial broken
• Water in boot
• Passenger door mirror doesn’t fold
• Rear roof seal starting to perish
• All seals covered in green mold
• Loose screws (from what?) in centre console
• Panel at rear of boot was missing fasteners
• Satnav screen filthy (thought it had delaminated)
• Car was filthy throughout
• Leaves in roof box
Service history:
• NOT Mazda main dealer
• Warnings re tyres
• Warning re corrosion on subframe
• Warnings re oil misting on rear shocks
It was advertised at £8695. I offered £7000, which, in retrospect, I am very glad that the seller refused.
No mot either…
