Hi, I’m a new Mx5 owner and really love my car (a 2007 roadster). However I find the supplied seats offer no lumber support. This is ok on short journeys, but leaves me and my wife with back ache on longer runs. Has anyone got any solutions re back support/specialist seats. Thanks TimA
Hello
That’s odd, I find my Mark 1’s very comfortable. In fact, I know other makes eg Triumph TR6 owners (we had one until recently) put MX5 seats IN the TR6 because they are so comfortable!! never heard anyone else say they have a problem - would it be worth “borrowing” an earlier mark’s seats to try it out???
Cheers

I find the seats in my Mazda 3 give me backache on long journeys since I developed problems with worn vertebrae, but in my Mk3 MX5 it is absolutely fine.
I know it is low-tech, but you could put a small cushion behind your lower back.
hello and welcome
Moss sell an inflatable lumber support pouch. On earlier cars, it can be tucked away inside the seat. Not sure about the NCs.
