Fresh MX-5 News from Japan!

Mazda has just announced sales details for two new special editions for the Japan market — the much hinted MAZDA SPIRIT RACING ROADSTER and the MAZDA SPIRIT RACING ROADSTER 12R.

:red_square: MAZDA SPIRIT RACING ROADSTER 12R (limited to 200 units)

  • Lottery reservations only via the MAZDA SPIRIT RACING APP from 5th October
  • Closed 20th October

:white_large_square: MAZDA SPIRIT RACING ROADSTER (limited to 2,200 units)

  • Pre-orders open Friday 24th October
  • Sold on a first-come, first-served basis through Mazda dealerships across Japan

Although these models are exclusive to the Japanese market, they’re too good not to share and one day they will certainly no doubt be ‘ones to have’.

I’d love to get hold of a 12R and take it unmodified sprinting and and hillclimbing but hey ho somethings like the Omega Snoopy Apollo 13 are unlikely to pass through my hands.
