bought my 2019 nd back last summer from a main dealer still got 6 months warranty left so my first service will be done with Mazda. I intend keeping the car long term 10 yrs maybe longer so going forward I am undecided whether to stick with a main dealer, service it myself or just use a local garage has anyone had any dealings with Mazda Taunton or any recommendations for a garage in Somerset
It’s still a high value car / sure you are going to keep it another ten years? I’d go for another 2/3 years with a dealer stamp for servicing.
If you do it yourself be prepared to justify it with data (receipts) well presented and easily read.
Most independents can update the online records anyway, so using main dealer is an expensive way to look after the vehicle.
Sack off the main dealer and look for an independent Mazda specialist, their isn’t any point getting charged OEM labour rates, they don’t do a better job.
