Hi all
I have been offered at excellent set of Mazdaspeed MX5 MS01 ( They are not the split rim style ) alloys in excellent Condition…with a matched set of Firestones that may have another 5k left in them at most
The seller wants £300 ?
Like the wheels …but don’t have a clue if that’s a good / bad or an average price with so many cheaper wheels about , he seemed to focus in on the fact that they were genuine Mazdaspeed that added value ?
Help advice appreciated ?
Thankyou
Andrew
, as Goonz say,
If they come with the centre caps and rings, its the bargain of the century

And those centre caps are near impossible to obtain. These wheels are rebranded Buddy Club’s.

Its called the JDM tax. But they are worth a lot less if they have been “restored”.

Quality…!!!
So hands up , just what does JDM stand for…?
JDM stands for Japanese domestic market. “Cool you car is a JDM import” Refering to a eunos i guess.
Thanks …
I have just had a look at them , sort of flat grey / silver paint on the 5 arms … with the rim being alloy .
Mazdaspeed embossed onto one of the arms
Metal locking ring with 5 little indents / hex nuts ?
Grey plastic looking hexagonal centre hub
All the paint / colour is a perfect match …
They look immaculate & original , couple of very tiny paint bubbles on one of the rings ?
If £300 is a bargain …? what might they really be worth as I know the chap and will offer a little more / split the difference to be fair to him .
With thanks
Andrew
