Hi, anybody been to MIJ Performance and had one of their “while you wait” exhausts. I quite fancy one for my NC but would like to hear one first. (I’m near jct 28 of the M1 in Derbyshire)
Trouble is, when you get a choice of sound setup, I dont want to pick the wrong one for me, not too loud, but not too quiet either 
I had the same problem when I had a system made for my MX5. As every ones ear is diffrent I would give them a call and ask if you can hear the car with the system they are talkng about.
Just a side note is harder with a turbo as volume dose not chage much with revs.
I know this post is a few weeks old, but we had a system fitted to our Subaru while we waited a few weeks ago.
Price was very reasonable, the note is exactly as they described - they do various options, and literally make them exactly how you want it, and their work is very good.
Take it down there, you’ll need to book it in, avoid weekends if you can because they get pretty busy, and talk it through with them. They can replicate the original system, make it a bit louder, make it a lot louder, and make it so loud you will scare children from a distance.
My advice is to go for the mid sport, that seems to be the majority of what they fit - a bit louder than standard, but nothing too extreme.
