Minor stone chip damage but lots of it!

My Mk3 in Stormy Blue is just under a year old with 10.2k on the clock.  I have noticed recently a build up of very small stone chips below the headlight area.  Initially it looks like white dust but on close examination they are very small chips which have just penetrated the paint but not the primer.  After cleaning and polishing, the chips are impossible to see from about 3 metres away but the trouble is I know they are there.  Other than a respray I cannot think of any other means of dealing with this because the chips are so numerous and small that repairing individually is not possible.  The other thought I have is to show the car to the dealer and suggest a repair under warranty but I do not anticipate a positive response.  Ideas and suggestions would be welcome.

Blue wax crayon, slightly darker than the actual paint.  Rub it in to fill the marks and then rub off with a dry cloth. Lasts for a year, at least.

I agree wax crayon will mask the chips but I have found a longer lasting  result can be obtained using lipstick, the waterproof variety, or stage makeup again the waterproof stuff.

Thanks for the suggestions and will give them both a try.
