Missing tool kit

Help?

I have just bought a mx5 2006 1.8i, can you tell me if the car came with tools, such as the handle for the jack, towing eyes and a wheel wrench.

Mine seem to be missing.

The supplying garage insists that not all cars come with them. (Not a mazda dealer) but a networkQ.

The car has a jack and puncture repair kit but the rest is missing.

No means to tow the car ,no means to use the jack which seems very odd. If your about saving money why supply a jack

According to the handbook for my Eunos Roadster, when new it came with a tool bag, 2 Spanners, one pair of pliers, a double ended screwdriver, wheel wrench, a plug wrench and handle and a jack.                                                                        By the time I bought it 14 years later it only had the jack and wheel wrench, plus the hexagon plastic wrench to remove the cover that covers the nuts up on the BBS wheels.

My mk3 came with all the bits you seem to be missing in a plastic roll fastened to one of the nylon webbing straps at the front of the boot which looked very untidy so I relocated them to the cubby hole on the right hand side with the jack. Sounds like the salesperson is talking rubbish - a jack with no handle !

Have you got the nylon bag at the back of the boot with the tyre goo and compressor ?

My MK1 has a Jack handle . Perhaps if we get a flat we can combine and get the car lifted

Oh by the way if I get a replacement Jack , where should it be located.
