Car has been leaving a tiny drop every so often, it seems to be from the side of the gearbox near the front. Theres a rubber cover that seems to be loose or dislodged, has oil all around. Here’s a pic…
Any ideas would be great. The gearbox is a bit noisy so it worth just changing it??

Is it definitely gearbox oil?
More common for the rear crank seal to let go, dropping oil onto the gearbox.
Either way if you change the gearbox, I suggest you replace that rear seal at the same time.
Ahhh I see, yeah it could be that then. The leak seems to be coming from there so oil could be getting in to the gearbox housing. Balls.
