Hi all, thinking of fitting electric mirrors to my Mk 1 Roadster.
Has anyone done it, if so which mirrors fit (ie do they have to be Mk1), is there a thread on here somewhere (have searched but can’t find).
Any help much appreciated.

I fitted Chrome mk1 electric mirrors to my 1993 v special took about half a day as I had to make up the loom from scratch, I found a very useful wiring diagram on Miata .net, if you want a copy pm me your email address and I will send it over I used the rectangular switch that mounts in the row of three to the right of the steering wheel
With regards to electric mirrors
They were fitted by Mazda to some Eunos Mk1 special editions
I have a set on my car OEM fitment, there is a second wiring connector inside the bodywork where the electric window and speaker wires come out, the switch is fitted on the right handside under steering wheel.
Yes it is pretty easy apart from getting the wires through the rubber conduit and out to the doors. Only 3 wires are required per side as the earths are reversed within the switch during operation, had me foxed for a min before I worked out how they worked.
