Mk1 heater controls

I treated my Mk1 to a bit of second hand bling at the rally, it’s the chrome surround that goes around the inside of the heater control panel.

I’m assuming that the slider knobs just pull off to fit it - is that correct as they didn’t want to shift and I don’t want to do any damage.

Roadster controls are held on by grub screws, but UK cars are just a push fit.
