Took me ages to find a mk1 UK SE car come up for sale - and now there are 2 for sale at the same time!
Come on guys - you aren’t helping with the “rare” tag!!

But they are both dogs. The first one is a bit more honest. The second one, the owner is a bit deluded. The sills are full of filler, given when the repairs were done, will need doing again soon. Plus the unobtanium wheels have gone. Just a UK market version of the “black n tan” V-Special, and they made a lot of those.
There are actually only a few properly rare MX5 Mk1 special editions. Everything else is marketing spin.
Agreed on the wheels, but few people will probably be aware.
Mine is currently having the sills re-done even though they were repaired by a previous owner in 2017
