Mk1 Water pump gaskets?

Just a quick question, I’ve seen people on the forums say to get these two gaskets:

when replacing the water pump, however on the water pump product page it also lists this gasket:

and I wanted to check if this is also required or not when replacing the pump?

The O ring goes on a metal pipe that goes into the water pump inlet housing. You don’t need to take the inlet housing off the pipe so don’t need to change the O ring. To be honest though I’ve taken the inlet housing off the pipe, left the O ring on and refitted the housing with the original O ring in the past with no problems.
