Just ordered a wood dash kit for the roadster v spec - always wanted one but refused to pay £150 from MX5 parts!
Got one half that price from walnut dash interiors in Colchester and cant wait for it to arrive and fit it.
Should look good with the v spec interior!
Has anyone fitted a dash kit and were you pleased with it? Looks easy to fit! Is it?
I have fitted a wood kit to my MKII, easy to fit, but have a hair dryer handy.
I’ve fitted one from this supplier and had no problems at all. My brother also ordered one some time after me and he did have issues with his delaminating; it was soon replaced with no issues as the company admiited having a dodgy batch of material. His second set has been fine since.
I practiced on the ash tray which I no longer have in the car so I could get a feel for the stickyness and manoeuvrability before doing the rest. As I recall there isn’t a great deal of manoeuvrability!!!
