MK2.5 car required for short test - Warwickshire(CV36) area - help appreciated

Hi

I am looking for assistance from  a MK2.5 car(2001 - 2005) owner, 1.6 or 1.8 in the Warwickshire area to run a non invasive immobiliser test on your car.

The company I am working with are based at Shipton-on-Stour(CV36) but if required will travel a reasonable distance to do this test which will take less than 1 hour.

Immobilisers are starting to fail on MK2.5 cars so it would seem that the original sytems which cannot be replaced with new components are on borrowed time.

I am working with a specialist auto electrical/diagnostics company to come up with a working solution.

Test will be done at a time and date to suit you but probably not going to happen for at least a month or two.

As a gesture of thanks, the kind person who assists with this will have their immobiliser issue remedied FOC if required in the future.

Did you get any response to you "“need” my immobilizer kicked in some time ago (Dec 16) had to have a magician on electric to source a new ecu and fetlle for me

Hi Percy

Yes, Keith kindly assisted with this and we are now supplying an emulator to replace a faulty MK2.5 immobiliser. This is only any use if the ecu is undamaged.
Pleased to hear that you resolved the issue on your car - perhaps ecu related rather than immobiliser?
