Oh! I can’t help you there then. Try posting on the Scottish area, I think you need someone who has a good PC with Mazda’s own software on it, usually a dealer (dealers charge around £40 to plug it in!) but odd garages do have access. You need to know who and where.
Strange one, as far as I know, fault codes are stored in memory after three consecutive codes, so possibly why it doesn’t show with the MS309 reader. The fact it does show a fault, means that somewhere is a fault you need to pin down, usually by accessing each suspected item in turn. While I bought mine several months ago - I haven’t actually used it yet, daft I guess, but I bought it in case there was a fault showing , or one I thought might be.
