Mk2.5 IL Motorsport centre pipe and Cobalt muffler piping size difference

Due to the centre pipe rusting through at the joint to the muffler again I’m looking to upgrade to a stainless one instead. After waiting for a while the IL Motorsport centre pipe is finally back in stock at MX5parts. The IL Motorsport pipe diameter is 54mm and the Cobalt is 60mm (according to the info I can find). Would the difference in pipe size cause any issues?
