I was wondering If anyone could tell me… 

Are all

2.5’s fitted with the vvt engine?

ALL MK2.5 cars with the 1.8 engine are VVT

No 1.6 engine cars have VVT.

so even base 1.8 models have the vvt? 

Thought it was just the sport/I.s models

Well thats darn annoying

Seen a low mileage unit for sale on eBay for my mk2  listed from a mk2.5 but no mention of vvt on the advert. 

search continues.
