I currently have a mk2 with standard seats, but may have the option to buy the in laws 2.5. Having sat in their car it seems that you sit much higher, maybe it is that my car has 70k on the clock and their only 10k but my head touches the roof in the latter car - I am 6ft 2.
Is this the case?
Hi, You do sit higher, by a little bit. Never known it to ever really be a problem for anyone though. Are you talking about the 2.5 1 piece seats ? Very nice seats of course…
You could of course swap MK2 with MK2.5 seats if you thought it was going to couse you real problems… [Y]
thanks for the advice, the 2.5 seats are lovely, it is a Nevada with the good looking high backs. I would be tempted to swap mine for them, they are the separate head rest version, but have been re-covered by Gary from Coventry who advertises on ebay. He did a superb job in 5 hours! Blue and black leather for under £300 - thoroughly recomended!
