Guys I have locked this thread, it wasn’t really meant as a discussion forumWink

Well spotted. That first manual is crystal clear on bits. Already I have identified oner small part I need.

Thanks Geoff, was struggling a bit there as I’m keen to get fettling.

I’ve read about some American bloke who wrote an (by all accounts) excellent workshop manual. Is there anything comparable out there for Mk2.5’s?  - Admittedly, I haven’t yet downloaded your last link so not sure how good it is. Websense is blocking me and it’s a long walk to the server room to bypass it! Will D/L it at home tonight.,

 Thanks alot Geoff

 Just what i need

 Kind regards

 Andy

 Good find. Thanks for sharing.

ExcellentBig Smile.  As the others have said, thanks for sharing.

Wow  have been looking for a manual since I got the car in May.

Geoff, many thanks 4 the link Thumbs upStar

White 1998 RS import - getting shinier very slowly

Focus ST in reserved orange colour!

There are now 2 Workshop Manuals available:

one by Haynes available from Amazon.co.uk

Haynes Repair Manual Mazda Mx-5 Miata 1990 Thru 2009

and one by Chilton available from Amazon.com

Mazda MX-5 Miata: 1990 thru 2009 (Chilton Repair Manuals)

They both appear to be USA written and they both may contain the same pages but I don't know.

However they would appear to contain information on Mk1, Mk2, Mk2.5 and Mk3 (but not Mk3,5).

Moderator:  Perhaps the title of this thread could be changed to Mk1, Mk2, Mk3?

Thanks for the links, gonna have to look into the Haynes manual to :D.

Olly

Be warned though, the information on the Mk2 and 3 is sketchy to say the least.  These 2 manuals are identical so don’t buy both like I did.Angry

That’s why I haven’t changed the title of the threadWink

Geoff - It still might be a good idea to change the title just to make members aware of the existance of this updated manual even though  IN MY OPINION  it is not up to standard.

I have written to Haynes regarding my dissappointment with it particulary after we have waited so long for a post Mk1 manual.  I have not yet had a reply as per this post - SEE HERE

Hi Phil

This post was specifically for the online Mk2 manuals, I should really have locked it from the start.

Lets let the other thread take it’s course and we’ll take it from there. I’ll lock this one now
