MK3.5 Seat and Seatbelt Stalk/Buckle Torque

Looking to replace the drivers side seatbelt stalk/buckle as it only seems to be releasing maybe 1 out of 10 times when pressed down.

I understand the process for removing the seat and seatbelt buckle however i wanted to confirm if these torque settings that i found are correct and apply to the MK3.5 too and not only the MK3 (came from the 2007 mk3 mellens service manual)

Seatbelt Stalk - 40-50nm?

Seat fixing bolts - 36-54nm?

Do these sound right? Also would it be a good idea to put some locktite on the bolts or would this be unnecessary?

Thanks.

Sound about right to me, I wouldn’t Loctite the bolts.

Nothing wrong with using the BLUE 243 (medium strength) Loctite.
Can be undone with Torque (spanner/socket) quite easily. :+1::slightly_smiling_face:
