As per the title, I’m after 1 (or maybe 2) of the large Bose speakers from the door of a NC MX5. Contact me if you have them please.

I have fitted Audison AP8’s. Couldn’t be happier. Even though I made speaker rings to get them to fit as I wanted to be able to reverse to stock 5x7, they are very shallow for what they are.
Interesting. Do these work with the existing Bose tweeters and amp?
Now that you mention the Bose amp…that whole system was designed to run with 1 ohm Bose speakers while 4 ohm is industry standard…The Audisons are 4 ohm so your woofer will play too soft. I do know, however, that it sounds way better than the Bose setup. So if you are in for a nice audio mod you should get a small 4x45 class D amp and those Audison speakers, perhaps with the Audison AP1 tweeters.
All this of course being very off topic but maybe an alternative for a very meh sounding Bose speaker that cannot be found second hand.
I managed to find a Bose speaker on eBay so this is now sorted.
