MK3 Door speaker wiring apapter

I am considering upgrading the Door Speakers in my MK3, non-bose fitted car.

I want to ensure I have all the ‘bits’ before stripping down the door to fit the new speakers. I understand that the factory fitted speakers have non-standard connections. Does anyone know what adaptors are available to allow the connection of standard after market speakers to the MX5 speaker wiring?
