New to the group, and mx5 ownership. I’ve just picked up a 2012 mx5 1.8 coupe, unfortunately it’s got a blown engine.
Im wondering if anyone would know if I could drop in a 2.0 engine from a 2006 mazda 6? And if so what all would be involved?

Why would you not just “drop in” an engine from another MX5 rather than a Mazda 6 from 6 years its junior ?
I’m thinking in the 10 months which have elapsed since he posted he may well have found his answer
