Mk3 Front Brake Pad Replacement Clip(s) Needed

HI All

I’ve just gone to replace the front pads and it looks like Kwik Fit ( The previous owner had the pads changed by them) have bodged one of clips that holds the pad in place on the carrier. There’s a non-standard clip in there and for the life of me, I can’t make it fit. And to be honest, I don’t want some random bent to fit clip in there anyway.

So, does anybody know where I can buy the correct clips over the counter? I know I can order them online for delivery, but with the car up on stands and the wheels off - I’d rather not come back to it a second time.

I think I got mine off eBay. You could also try mx5parts.

Thanks Mick - very kind of you.
I ended up ordering a set from MX5Parts over the weekend. EuroCarParts seemed to be the only over the counter option - @ £35 :roll_eyes:. So went with the online option and another jack up / wheel off one evening this week.

If / when you get stuck on the rears I have a full set that will be going in the bin together with a set of less than half worn pads.
