Mk3 nc back box bolts

Hi, I am looking at replacing the standard back box on my nc over the weekend.

i understand the original back box has captive studs, does anyone know what size nuts will be required ?

M10 diameter x 25mm thread length x 1.5mm pitch, material grade 8.8, zinc coated bolts.

1.5mm pitch is the standard pitch for an M10 bolt or nut.

Hi any thanks for the info , could stainless steel be used wth a spring washer ?

Material spec 8.8 is carbon steel, do not use stainless steel where the 8.8 specification is required.

Hi all - I’ve just had the same issue and the pitch on my back box captive bolts turned out to be 1.25 and not 1.5. Correct nuts readily available on eBay etc.
