Just bought a mk3 with the standard radio. I’d really like a plain jane OEM looking double din radio with USB, bluetooth and steering wheel control capability. The simpler it looks the better. Any suggestions would be most appreciated. Completely bewildered by the choice on ebay and the ones offered on MX5parts.co.uk look too flashy.

Does your radio have aux in next to the power socket?
I have a little very cheap gizmo that plugs into the power socket, just. It has an output that connects to aux in and also a USB output that powers my phone.
The gizmo bluetooths to the phone which then enables me to play music through the phone, receive hands free calls and output the satnav in the phone through the speakers.
I also have a mount for the phone that uses a gel cup to suck onto the dash so I can see the phone close to my eyeline for satnav and music control.
Works a treat but the cables could be tidier.
