Mk3 stubby aerial

I’ve been looking around for a while now and nowhere seems to have stock of the stubby aerial. I seen a few folk had used the S2000 aerial instead, but is it a good fit? Does it match up with the diameter of the base cover?

Thanks!

The first advert I looked at on ebay shows the dimensions of the honda aerial.

Purchased my Stubby aerial from Moss who have them in stock, fitted perfectly and gives my NC a much improved look.

I got mine from Moss for my 3.5 but sent it back when I couldn’t get reception on my saved radio stations.

There are also posts on the S2000 aerial doing the same, so I’m going to pinch my wifes Honda CRV short flexible aerial an give that a try.

Got the Moss version (Cravenspeed if i recollect correctly) on the wife’s Mk 3.5 PRHT and it looks great. no loss of reception and full covers base.

Can recommend.

I have the S2000 one and it looks like this: (considerably cheaper on ebay than the moss or mx5 parts one)

That looks pretty good to me! I’d probably want to black out that little touch of aluminium if possible!

Love the colour of your 5 By the way!

Ahh really? i very rarely use the radio, but obviously still want a good reception for when I do.  I just want to make sure the diameter matches the base!

Rang mx5 parts and they say they will have the stubby aerial back in stock in 2 weeks time. I may hold off till then as the moss Europe one is quite a bit more expensive.

Yes I think thats what i will do, only fitted the aerial on sunday.

The colour is why I bought the car, one of the few rare mazda colours

If mine wasn’t my daily, I’d definitely go for that colour! Looks great with the black roof! Health to drive!
