Do the epaulettes on the ends damp out resonance on the wing?
Or are they vortex busters?

Hi Richard, I like to think they help with damping out some of the wing end vibrations but since the rubber mounts have been installed under the main supports I do not get any wing vibrations even at 125mph which I now have tested twice but who knows I just built it better this time around… but I still been able to do it all for under £60.00
Cabin filter Mod Done cost £6.78
Got some HKS super filter that you can cut from Ebay £12.00 enough to make two filters
Also got some plastic/fibre mesh £1.56 enough for two as well but once cut you should not need to make any more …..
Remove this tab passenger side under wiper
Remove (8mm ) screw
Take Back half way Rubber seal & slide back the cover let it rest on the engine
Remove the black Plastic surround to make your template …..
Cut out filter to fit and plastic /Fibre mesh
Then re- assemble
last thing fill out & paste up the mileage for reference time to do 15-20 mins

Also fitted new LED clock and Road Angel Pure 2.4 25 …..
Hardwire’d in my Road Angel pure but did the power connection with a magnet conector cuts out trying to get these fiddle’y connectors together also cuts down on the risk of damage to the port in the back of the unit ….
VAFOTON 9Pin Magnetic Charging Cable, 360° & 180° Charging & Data Cable 3Pcs (2M/2M/1M), 3-in-1 USB Charger Cable, 18W Phone Charger for Micro USB,…
This will help to make things easy when you need to stow this away out of site of those no so nice little thiving toe rags …..
Great stuff, I find the simplest and cost effective mods are quite often the most rewarding.
Who going to see it ?…..that don’t matter because you know it’s unique and there ![]()
How did you fit the power cable for the road angel. I have an old one I want to fit (in the old car I ran the wire over the dash) - but it would be nice to run the power cable more discreetly.
Great work on your car.
cheers
sam
The power cable is run off the passenger’s side footwell 12 volt aux I have a 9 way splitter fitted to it 3 USB connections 3 USC and 3 of the old type cigarette like connections then run the power cable to the drivers side under the carpet then up the side of the foot well till it hits the bottom of the A piller then tucked inbetween the window and the dash added some 6mm split cable tidy so the power cable sits in side but is trapped between the window and dash so the cable cannot spring out ….
25 years of collecting car/stuff in my garage & loft space, I thought it was time for some order and a clean out …..took two weeks four hours a day no joke…! to sort filter and label every box, (with misspent spelling lol) item in the small unit that I have and get the car in with towing trailer ……built new 12 volt /USB/Usc charging board …ECT just made thing a little more tidy….. few pics
