Mohair top - best waterproofing?

Hi

I have just had a mohair top fitted to my 1998 MK2. What is the best product to use for waterproofing and what is the frequency for it? Read good reviews about Autoglym, Renovo and Fabsil…too much choice?

Also do you use a specific algue killer before proofing?

Hi, I recently used Renovo ultra Proofer I think it’s called on my new hood and had the opportunity to see it working a couple of days later… the rain beaded on it rather than soaking it. If I remember correctly, the instructions say to repeat every six months and it’s very easy to do.
