Moisture on inside of windows

My 2021 2.0 Sports Tech does seem to get frequent moisture deposits on the inside of all the windows. It lives outside but the hood appears to be watertight as all the carpets are dry so no sign of water ingress into the car. It could just be the very cold weather overnight causing moisture in the air trapped inside the car from its last use to condense out onto the cold windows (it sometimes goes a week or maybe more without use). Does anyone else’s do this?

…yep, cold weather. Ours is kept outside with a half cover and if I don’t use the car I always get condensation inside. I always take the cover off and give the interior a bit of a wipe down every 2 weeks (or sooner), to prevent it building up / going mouldy…

This is a good week (in the Midlands especially) to open up your cabin and let in the super cold, dry air. The cold air doesn’t hold moisture. The outside dew point as I type is minus 2C. Better than the 14C in my warm but moist house and integral garage.
Condensation on your windscreen is a good thing. It’s acting as a free dehumidifier so mop it up and it’s less moisture in your car.
Don’t mop it up and then dump the cloth in the door pocket like the missus does

Portvalenil quite so. As a licenced pilot I am very familiar with dew point spread. I have a chamois- encased sponge I use to mop the moisture off the windows, and it goes into the house and onto a radiator to dry-off! I may buy a crystal de-humidifier (with sacrificial replicable crystals) to reduce the wet window effect.

A couple of decent sized ones (1Kg or as near as you can get) used to keep mine dry when I kept it outside under a half cover.

They can be regenerated in the oven.

My car does this. The condensation gathers on the inside of the hood and drips down onto the arm rest. The hood is leak proof, so it’s condensation. I have placed a dehumidifier with crystals in the plastic tub in the passenger footwell. It seems to help.

Hi got these as I had condensation inside the car and they seem to be doing the trick

The best dehumidifier is the air con, that’s why it turns on automatically when you turn your blower control to windscreen only. It also helps to turn off the air circulation, so that fresh air is coming in to the cabin.
