Monster Run

Yesterday (Saturday 18th May) Grampian had our ‘Monster Run’ of around 330 miles in total.

Starting in the East at Inverurie with Fort William at our Western most point we took in Glenshee, Pitlochry, Killin (lunch at Tyndrum) then through Glencoe, Fort William, Spean Bridge, Kingussie, Tomintoul and back over The Lecht.

The weather played a blinder and we saw 27 Deg at one point, sun screen definitely required and those with aircon enjoyed a cool draft around feet and legs.

We were joined at various points by cars from Tayside and Central Scotland (East and West groups) and had a total of 22 cars at our lunch stop.

A cracking day, big thanks to everyone who came along.

That must have been an amazing day! And you may have very well scored the best day in Scotland this year.

Fabulous.

Glad the weather played ball.
I can imagine how everyone felt having just enjoyed a brilliant run out with the combined Eastern/Peaks and Pennines groups recently.

It would be a treat to tag along another time.

Thanks for sharing your experience. :+1:

First photo is the Green Welly Stop?

It is, was absolutely chock full yesterday.

All are welcome, keep an eye on all the usual places for our event calendar and/or sign up for our monthly emails (through your membership account). We will probably do a similar east/west run next year as well as the others in the schedule.
