After months of evenings and weekends, 4 trips to A&E, and a house full of car, my MX5’s passed its MOT this afternoon. Ready to go back on the road!
Everything except the windscreen replacement’s been a DIY job (as is evident in parts of the respray). The whole underside, the fuel tank, subframes, interior and suspension arms have been ground off and resprayed. The dash has been re-upholstered to reduce reflections too. Save for the non-intake bit of the engine, and the gearbox, every nut and bolt has been undone at some point.
Mod’s-wise there’s a cat-back exhaust, new coilovers, polybushes, and some reinforcement rails.
