Motorpoint appear to have 45 NDs for sale on ebay.
Bonkers isn’t it? I wonder if their chief buyer still has a job?
They hoovered them all up late summer at top price, just as Autumn was starting.
So they will probably be sitting on them until next spring.
Lot of stock to finance there, maybe average of £18k each, so maybe £810,000 of NDs.
Hopefully Mazda supply lots of new ones to get the market moving.
My 2018 is still with them, 3 months now. It’s immaculate, fully serviced but they want £22k for it!
Did they buy them as a job lot from one source or piecemeal from a variety of sources?
As usual probably from auctions, but they may take some as part ex, also they buy cars like WBAC and Motorway etc.
I suppose to put it on Context they have 74 Ford Fiestas.
15 or so stores, so they are very big, maybe that many NDs isn’t crazy…
