Mudflaps, Boot Spoiler, Black Badges, also, PPF, and Ceramic

Hi fellow MX-5 owners, both new(ish), to this Forum, been semi-lurking, and new to being an MX-5 owner. Ours arrives on Thursday, the 12, new Mazda MX-5 2.0L RF Homura, in Red, and wanted to get some things done pronto, i.e., paint, and fit, genuine Mudflaps, front, and rear, already bought, as well as the genuine Boot Lid Lip Spoiler, still to buy, and black badging. Wanting to get PPF, possibly front only, maybe front and sides, depending on cost, and Ceramic paint work done.

I reached out, a couple of times now, email, and web form, to Paint Protection Studio, at 1-3 Manchester Street, Birmingham, B6 4HL, with no response, was going to call today, but decided to check here first, if people have a garage they can recommend, that preferably does all the work, but not necessary, happy to travel a little, if it’s for a special one.

Thanks.

How far are you prepared to travel? I use someone in East Yorkshire who is decent.

I used Reep Yorkshire on my then 7 year old ND and two years later it still looks wonderful . Highly recommended .

Thanks for your comments, Yorkshire, East, about 2 hours each way from Birmingham, so a bit of a trip, especially as I’d lose access to the car for a couple of days, I’d expect, and about 3 hours each way, to Reep, although they do look like they’d fit the bill, too far I’m afraid.

You could try custom creations in Bilsthorpe Nottinghamshire had my RF done there if not too far brilliant service and results, pictures and videos on Andy’s website

I can recommend ‘Detailed By Dale’ who’s based near Atherstone. Depends where in Birmingham you’re based obviously, but hopefully that’s not too far for you to travel:

He does excellent paint protection and detailing work, and can sort PPF as well I believe.

Thanks for your comments, Custom Creations Detailing, about an hour, 30, away, so still a bit of a distance, great reviews, would have been happy to give them my work, positive for Detailed by Dale too, and closer, at 53 minutes, each way, so far looks like the best recommendation for myself. Hoping for something closer though, will wait to see what else is recommended, thanks again.
