Sounds like the voices of the Clangers, made with a slide whistle…!
Re-listening to one of the better bits of Glasto, Maribou State. 21 days left before BBC take it off iPlayer
After seeing them there for the first time on the TV I bought the three CDs. A good buy for working or driving music, keeps one awake without distracting.

Yungblud - Changes
Jethro Tull’s Passion Play. Hadn’t heard this in a while so resurrected the album. Then came side 2 and brought back memories of “The hare who lost his spectacles”. What a classic! Must play it for my three year old granddaughter!
Scots on the Rocks by the Peatbog Faeries.
Saw them live on Saturday, still jigging!
Got tickets to see Numan in November so going through his back catalogue starting with Replicas and Pleasure Principle. I remember buying both albums (yes vinyl) when they were released
I agree. Marilyn Manson’s version of Personal Jesus (Depeche Mode), Comfortably Numb (Pink Floyd) by Scissor Sisters, Hurt (Johnny Cash) from None Inch Nails and Another Brick in the Wall by Korn just a few of my favourites.
You’ve set me off watching them again
Pet Shop Boys - Groovy.
From their album Super, produced by Stuart Price.
Singing “Look at me, I’m just so groovy” while trying to make my dad’s moves look choreographed.
The Sisters’ version of Comfortably Numb is brilliant!
My current fav cover is Pet Shop Boys’ take on Bruce Springsteen’s The Last To Die.
But then I am having a Pet day…
I’ll take a look at the Pet Shops when I get home👍
