In just a few days on Sunday 9th June , we’ll gather at Compton Verney in Warwickshire for the Club’s 30th Anniversary Rally, this event is doubly special as it also marks the 35th anniversary of the iconic MX-5.
We will commemorate the history of the Car and Club as we are joined by two of the most pivotal figures in creating the MX-5, Bob Hall and Tom Matano . We are also being joined by Practical Classics’ Danny Hopkins and AutoAlex.
Rally Passes & Tickets
The June edition of your magazine is already on the way, arriving this week.
In it you’ll find your free member vehicle and entry pass for the Rally. Remember to keep this somewhere safe! as you will need it on the day. Don’t forget, your ticket also includes entry for you and a ‘plus one’ to enjoy the day!
Exchange your ticket at Entry Gate Tent for your rally gift, commemorative Rally sticker, event programme and event access.
Meet Bob & Tom
Two interview and Q&A sessions with Bob and Tom will be hosted by Danny Hopkins. Due to the room’s limited capacity, please collect a free ticket from the Club Shop tent on the day to attend either session.
As time is limited, questions for the Q&A are being sourced in advance. If you’d like to ask a question to Bob or Tom, please email them to question@mx5oc.co.uk, Questions selected will also include a pair of tickets for the session.
Around 3.30pm, there will be an Autograph and Meet & Greet session with both Bob and Tom. Please note they will not be signing vehicles. However, if you have something from your car that you’d like them to sign and can get it to them, they will oblige. The session will run until they need to wrap up the day.
