Often marvelled at MX-5 owners from abroad turning up at our Spring and Summer OC meetings and thought it must be fun to do similarly.
I have stumbled across what is Switzerlands biggest MX-5 gathering on 28 09 24 which will be followed on the 29th by a more general Mazda gathering to be held in Duernten which I gather is just outside Zurich.
I planned on taking Madge to the Nurburgring earlier in the week for a couple of leisurely touristenfarht laps 25th / 26th and driving into Switzerland from Merano to Davos on the 27th so the opportunity to pop into the meeting on the way home seemed too good to miss.
Wondering is anyone else is either planning, or interested in going ?

That looks fun! I see they even have an on-site tattoo artist (and food stalls, and speed-dating for singles).

Never been a fan of needles but if they float your boat yes there is an on site tat service coutesy of a chap called Thor.
Regarding the speed dating I have no idea what the demographic of Swiss MX-5 owners is but probably mostly young enough to be my grand children in the speed dating event, still might be worth a punt to find someone to dance with at the after party 
I think the Tombola might be more aimed at my demographic although I can’t for the life of me remember how tombola works.
Looking forward to meeing some fellow 2.5 owners in the alps and then there will be the Swiss food stalls, probably where I will be spending most of my time before induldging in some grandad wobbling, if I get lucky with the speed dating, at the after party with Live DJs , CHF15

Here are a few pics from Saturdays MX-5 and Sundays Mazda meet in Zurich.
Sadly the Saturday event was a wash out !
The field where the cars were parked soon turned into a quagmire and many of the cars had to be towed out, first with the Volvo, when that could no longer cope more agricultural tools were employed, no idea what the articulated 4WD vehicle is but it did a sterling job bearing in mind it probably had no more than 30 hp max !
Sunday was a dry day but the field was still a quagmire, not sure why the organisers wanted to people to park on the grass at all, poor chap in the soul red CX30 (?) came all the way from Italy !
