Hi all, had my MX-5 NC 2.0 '08 just over a year now and only just getting round to saying hello!
Bit of a project that might eventually end up with a turbo but so far:
- bought for £4ish k
- lowered on Tein coilovers
- replaced standard rims with Rota grids and Michelin PS5s (old alloys were in bad condition and needed new tyres anyway)
- new plates (stamped)
- removed the terribly installed fog lights and put blanking plates in
- new horn
- fixed leak directly onto fuse box
- new head unit
- few other cosmetic bits like side repeaters, mats etc
- removed the cat in the downpipe after it started disintegrating
In short this car has had a history before I got it. It’s also been hit by a pickup and an Asda van since I’ve had it. Next plan is to sort the dents, dings and paintwork and I’ve got a gravity 4-2-1 manifold to fit this week…
