It’s my way to remind myself it just a car and stop being so sodding serious… also it makes me laugh that everyone feels the need to comment 
tho the amount of time I come back after parking my car and someone has straightened it
I didn’t think it’d be legal. But shows what I know.
People might comment about it…but maybe not for the right reasons 
To each their own though.
I might do something like that with my house. To remind myself that, after all, it’s just a house.

Legality side I’ve no idea, never been stopped or spoken to by the local constabulary.
I never said people liked it, just that they pass comment…
The car was in a poor condition when I got it, and I’ve spent ages trying to ‘fix’ the paintwork, and make it better, almost to the point of obsession (Mrs would say it past that point) so as an act of rebellion against myself I leave it wonky… tbh i might have past to point of obsession and simply become mentally unstable, the jury is still out on that one.
Also it’s your house, you can do as you please, I mean you’re right it is only a house!
