Hi all, thought I’d introduce you to our Mk1 - we’ve had it for 3 weeks now and so far I’ve:
Replaced the new number plates, front and rear
Replaced the front number plate plinth
Replaced the door cards and broken driver’s door interior handle
Replaced the interior mirror
Fitted leather handbrake and gearstick gaitors
Fitted new speakers and iPod-ready head unit
Replaced the brace bar with a Mk2 windbreak
Replaced the spark plugs and air filter
Had an oil and filter change
Spend HOURS cleaning and polishing it.
