I recently bought and MX-5 and it needs some love, mainly new master and slave clutch cylinders, new serpentine belt, pulleys and a battery. I looked at the paid membership perks and it said discounts, does anyone know where these discounts are for and for how much? I want to signup but as a uni student £35 is quite a lot when the parts are already moderately expensive.

Hi, well worth joining the OC for the magazine.
MX5 Parts give regular 10% discounts usually on BHs etc as do Moss but I guess they will give these even if you are not a member.
Autolink give club discount and insurance companies claim they do as well as along list of other suppliers.
Best bet join the club.

If you’re on a budget then the type of discounts you can achieve in parts are nominal, MX-5 parts don’t give a Club specific discount and will offer the same to all mail list subscribers at specific times of the year.
As a non member you are allowed to post in the parts wanted section of the forum, you may be able to find what you need through that route.
The value of a membership brings you other benefits too and we’d be delighted to have you if it makes sense financially.
I am definitely planning on getting it the next few months, just wasn’t sure if it made a big difference with the cost of parts.

Is it possible that your membership has expired ?
Try logging out and then logging back on, you should be showing the members club sign
Ah… membership shouldn’t be expired - only joined a few months ago… I shall have a go at switching it off and back on again! Lol
