  3. I’m looking for technical help or recommendations on: a MX-5 specialist garage nearby for MOT and routine servicing.

Try the club sponsor, MX5 Parts. I’ve only used them for parts but last time I was there I saw workshop facilities. They are in Portsmouth.

I can recommend a good knowledgeable local garage not necessarily a 5 specialist but has looked after my 5s and others. Clock House in Horton Heath, ask for Mitch.
