Hi , new on here , had a couple of mx5s now , i have a 1.6 arizona 2002 with 2 fault codes ,p0100 and p0107 barometric and maf , no check engine light on , no performance change , its a b6mv which i changed , no difference. i only know i had the faults is when i put it through the mot and they showed up, so cant get it through without removing these faults! i can clear them but come straight back, can anyone help? Thanks
How did the faults show up with the MOTer if no engine light?
If you changed the ecum etc was there water damage?
Likely associated damage to thin copper wiring inside connector plugs and signals from auxiliarys degraded creating errors. You may end up chopping off a plug or two and soldering on replacements. Take a look at the old ecu pins to see where the corrosion has taken place in the plug wiring.
